Hope project : presentation



Génériques, together with 12 other institutions from 10 European countries, is part of the European funded project: Heritage of the People of Europe (HOPE).





Hope started in May 2010. It is cofinanced by the European programme ICT/PSP (ICT Policy Support Programme).

This best practices network on digitalization aims at posting on line nearly 880 000 digitalized documents related to the European labour and social history of the last two hundred years.

In this purpose, Génériques will be able to make its own digital collection accessible to research and free consultation via the multilingual portals Europeana and Labour History.



Europeana

The digital library Europeana proposes a unique access to an unified European cultural Heritage dispatched in numerous institutions (archive centres, libraries, museums, research institutes). It offers users a direct access to more than 10 millions of digitalized documents related to the history and the culture of Europe.
