Séminaire de restitution de Bruxelles

A conclusive Seminar for the trans-national French project Equal “ Odyssée(s) - Former des médiateurs de la mémoire pour lutter contre les discriminations", implemented in partnership with Italy and Greece to carry out activities with positive impact on local cultures to combat stereotypes, xenophobia and racism took place on 6 June 2007. Presentation of the publication “Mass Media and Diversity: Success Stories in France, Greece and Italy” to the EC Members.

-Dans le cadre du projet « Odyssée(s) – Former des Médiateurs de la mémoire pour lutter contre les discriminations », conduit dans le cadre du Programme d’Initiative Communautaire Equal, Génériques organise, avec ses partenaires grecs et italiens un atelier qui se déroulera à Athènes, les lundi 15 et mardi 16 janvier prochains.

Cet atelier qui aura pour thème, les médias et de la diversité, se déroulera à l’E .E. D.E. (Helenic Management Association) ; Salle de Conférence ; 200 Ionias Avenue et Iakovaton Street; 111 44 Athènes, Grèce. Tel. (+30) 210 2112000

Au cours de cet atelier, le partenariat français abordera ce thème sous l’angle des outils de formation des journalistes pour intégrer la question de l’immigration ainsi que sur les bonnes pratiques dans le domaine de la télévision publique et des radios pour prendre en compte la diversité culturelle.

Cet atelier transnational, ainsi que les deux précédents ont permis, tout au long du projet, la recherche et l’échange de bonnes pratiques permettant de lutter contre les discriminations et de changer les mentalités et les représentations à l’égard des populations immigrées. Ils seront conclus, au cours du deuxième trimestre 2007, par un séminaire de restitution organisé à Bruxelles devant des parlementaires et experts auprès de la Commission Européenne.
